Safilo has been making eye wear products for over 80 years, designing manufacturing and distributing high-quality prescription frames, sunglasses and sports eye wear under licensing agreements for leading luxury and premium brands as well as under its own brands. These premium brands include eye wear for Dior, Hugo Boss, Carrera, Polaroid, Kate Spade, Marc Jacobs and Tommy Hilfiger.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will have full responsibility for the development and growth of business and market share across Malaysia for selected brands in the Safilo portfolio. You will be responsible for the sales of eye wear products to new and established customers and the delivery of first class customer service support.
This is not your traditional "sales" position and we are looking for candidates that are willing to challenge themselves with a new business model for the industry.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification highly regarded (Retail/Fashion, Healthcare or Business)
  • Previous sales and account management experience advantageous, although graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Provision of expert merchandising and retailing knowledge
  • Developing and maintaining business partnerships with independent business operators with the delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Attainment of assigned sales targets and marketing objectives
  • Business development with independent Eye Care professionals and Sunglass stores
  • Diploma in Business/Marketing or equivalent
  • Min. 2 years sales experience in relevant industry ( Eyewear, Cosmetics, Watch & Jewellery, FMCG)
  • Strong understanding of Brands and Luxury industry requirements
  • Must possess own car and valid driving license; willing to travel extensively within assigned territory
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Required language (s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin/Cantonese
