Responsibilities:
Leads and manages a team of NPI Engineers or technical leaders.
Responsible for New products introduction and management from design & development stage, Proto, Pilot and transfer to Mass production.
Identify and develop process and yields improvement, process robustness, quality right first time and safety.
Develop and executes new technology and process including reliability such as Thermal & Mechanical reliability testing.
Ensure all change activities are managed in compliance with site policies, procedure and regulatory guidelines
Develops and manages processes with all internal and external stakeholders on all NPI related activities that deliver prototypes and products at high quality, on time and cost effectively.
Implement technical changes or enhancements to existing equipment processes, products or components to fulfill customer requirements and to enable continuous improvement initiatives.
Work with site management teams to plan for NPI business needs through NPI headcount allocation, space and budget prioritization.
Escalation point for all internal and external NPI related issues
 
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
15+ years of work experience in High-Tech manufacturing field and at contract manufacturing site as senior engineering manager.
Strong knowledge of SMT, Wave soldering , Press fit, mechanical assembly process with POKA YOKE Tooling / Fixture design and design guideline for manufacturing and assembly
Experience in PFMEA is a MUST.
Knowledge and understanding of systems and printed circuit board manufacturing processes and equipment.
Skill and systematic in diagnose and troubleshoot problems
Knowledge of materials and components used in the construction of systems and printed circuit boards and subassemblies
Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external customers
Proficient in all MS Office applications.
Must be willing to travel, Domestic and International and to work off hours to support business in Asia & US
